3 levels of workshops with Allstar couple Bret (USA) and Joëlle (France Navarre)
Coming from opposite sides of the globe—the United States and France—Bret and Joëlle met through West Coast Swing and quickly realized they were a perfect match, both in dance and in life. Their style is a blend of influences: Brett brings a background in ballet, jazz, contemporary, Latin, and ballroom dance Joëlle contributes expertise in hip-hop, oriental dance, ragga, salsa, and Afro-Caribbean styles
Together, they have over 35 years of experience in dance and teaching. Internationally active as instructors, judges, and performers, Bret and Joëlle regularly travel to teach and develop WCS at festivals around the world. Both are in the All-Star division, and while they now primarily perform as professional show dancers or judges, their reach continues to grow. They are also the organizers of “Med in Swing”, an international event held on the French Riviera. Known for their precise and effective teaching, they coach students at all levels—from social dancers to competitors, from beginners to professionals. Their pedagogy is rooted in a clear understanding of West Coast Swing technique and mechanics, delivered in a fun, inclusive atmosphere. As lifelong learners, they continue to train with some of the top names in WCS. Their philosophy: A great teacher must always remain a student—staying close to the innovation and evolution of the dance.
